Najprej sem se lotila iskanja singapurških modnih oblikovalcev in našla blog oblikovalke Jo Soh in njene blagovne znamke Hansel. V roku parih dni sem prečesala cel blog.

In še nekaj lepega o Singapurju. Keith Loutitov film Lion City.

Since our first visit to Singapore, this city has become such a pleasure of discovery. I’m not shore, if it was just me, or the city the first time, but this time, it felt like three days to spend there, were a little to short.

My exploration of any destination begins by checking out the Monocle and the internet. First, I wanted to find out about Singaporean fashion designers and amongst many, found Jo Soh and her Hansel fashion label. Fun and sophisticated knitted items, supported by a fun insight into everything Hansel. Her blog became my favorite pastime.

I wanted to get my hands on the latest issue of Kinfolk magazine, so I checked out their sale locations, where I found Books Actually and The Little Dröm Store. Because they were out of stock, I searched further and found enormous Kinokuniya book shop. We decided to fetch a couple of magazines and a book before our morning coffee and we found our selves lost among incredible titles for four hours. Kinfolk was not in the magazine section, but in the section that represented a Kinfolk like publications. To top everything off, a book store attendant helped us find some titles and had a shirt of Slovenian football team on, which he bought in a little city of Ptuj, while on high school exchange. That were my best four hours without coffee.

And there is a time that you plan not to be planed. So you can get lost in whatever comes your way. Well, we decided to get lost in Marina Bay Sands and we found our selves on top of the world, in michelin starred Din Tai Fung Taiwanese restaurant, on Louis Vuitton island and had a taste of S$19 jasmin tea.

Keith Loutitov take on Lion City is also something nice to see.
