Gospod v Tutmak cafeju me je nasmejal. I’m in a hell of a hurry. It’s not them, it’s you.

I read that rudeness has no place in Balinese society. The same probably goes for Malaysia and many other countries as well. A woman in KL’s Maya hotel complained that her son has to get his pizza immediately and it is no good he has to wait longer than other members of the family to get his meal. And that she has ordered french fries with her meal and while waiting for them, the rest of her meal got cold. “This is not ok”, she repeated. My eyes were rolling, Mišo’s eyes were rolling and so were does of the staff that evening. With that attitude in a holiday mood, it can never be them, it’s you.
A man waiting for his meal at Tutmak restaurant in Bali just a tad to long, had it. All the ease and tranquility in the world was dinning with us that evening and than suddenly, he stood up and shouted at the waitress: “When am I getting my meal, I have been waiting half an hour for my dinner, sorry is not good enough and I’m in a hell of a hurry!” I couldn’t help but lough every time I play his words in my head. I wonder what his hurry was.
