So a week of screen-printing the dots, two by two, does pay off. Before I was shore what I wanted to make, I made a paper version of the bag, which also served as a bag pattern later. For printing I used my old blank screen and used old magazine covers as printing masks. Glossy covers are great, because the paint can be easily scraped of when dry and can be reused many times.
The bag is made from raw cotton canvas, printed with green metallic dots on the outside and on the inside, it is printed with grass motif and silhouettes of flowers in green and pink color. There is also a big grass printed side strap, that would hold a bottle or a baguette in place. The outside pockets are also printed with grass on the inside, so there is constant reminder, that we are doing a good job, by using one shopping bag, instead of taking plastic bags given to us with every purchase.
